The Futures Program was developed for our next generation of riders who show the desire to compete. Coaching will be guided by natural progression through a group dynamic, in a fun environment.
Minimum requirements: Riders must be able to link turns. An assessment with a Snowboard Northwest coach is required to be in this program.
Note: The Futures Program includes 10 Sunday sessions + the 3-Day Holiday Camp (3-hour sessions/day).
The Groms program is a development program that focuses on building a foundation and skills within all aspects of snowboarding. This is accomplished through natural progression within a group environment, including a more direct coaching experience for each athlete within the group. This group is the last step before entering our competition team program.
Note: The Groms program consists of 12 Sunday sessions + the 3-day Holiday Camp (6-hour sessions/day).
The Team Program is developed for our competition teams. This program is structured to build the athletes' foundation. Coaches will focus on team dynamics while building riders' skills and confidence. Riders will focus more on their preferred discipline but will continue to ride all aspects throughout the year.
Note: The Team Program consists of 12 sessions + the 3-Day Holiday Camp (6-hour sessions/day).
Snowboard Northwest is offering our 3-day winter camp this December. During camp, athletes will focus on riding in a group setting with professional and advanced coaching. This camp is designed to fire up the kids for the season and give them a chance to meet other riders and coaches who will be participating in the Futures, Groms, and Team Program for the winter.
Important Note: Holiday camp is included with the purchase of a program-specific package (i.e., Futures, Groms, and Team Programs).
