2014 Event Info

Rhythm N Bruise is all about the course. While the course is something that is hard to describe in words, we’ll try. Imagine blending a snowboard terrain park with your favorite MTB freeride trail, sprinkle on some banked slalom and finish with a bit of motocross track. Then pack the mixture into a a tight, tranny-to-tranny snake run. That gives an idea. There’s really nothing like it. This year we’ll be adding some new and unique features.

Like years past, RnB 2014 will be a 2 day event. Day 1 (Saturday) will be all about “practice”. By practice we mean to familiarize yourself with the course, ride with your buddies, film a little, take some pictures and just enjoy an unreal course with what we hope will be some amazing Spring weather. Of course a bib will be REQUIRED to enter the course in any capacity. The course is typically open to entrants for about 8 hours on Saturday, depending on necessary course maintenance. In many ways day 1 is what RnB is all about. Don’t miss the opportunity to have ultimate freedom on the course.

The second day is the more literal competition day in which runs will be judged. Each rider category will be on course individually and judges will determine placement of the top three spots per category. PRO entrants will compete for a $2,500 cash purse. Depending on turn out, each category will have multiple individual runs OR a time limited free-for-all jam session. This year a chairlift directly accesses the course location so riders will be able to lap the course more efficiently. After the final heat placement of all categories will be finalized and the awards will be held immediately Sunday afternoon. In addition to Pro cash prizes we’ll be giving away a boatload of product and trophies once again.

In addition to course privileges, each entrant will receive a rider pack with swag from various sponsors.

The entry fees for General Entry is $40 which is good for both days. The Pro Entry fee is $50 and Pros will compete for $2500 (minimum) cash purse.

The turn out for 2014 is expected to be enormous. For that reason entry has been limited. Please take the time to register as soon as possible to ensure that you’ll have a spot for RnB 2014.
