A Stevens Pass legend needs our help

If you’ve been going to Stevens Pass and happened to go into one of their bars for a beer or food over the last many years, there’s a very good chance you were served by Doug McIndoe.   Doug is one of the kindest, happiest, and positive people you’ll ever hope to meet.  Unfortunately this past Sunday Doug choked on food while eating dinner, and to make a long story short, is now fighting for his life at a hospital in Wenatchee.  Doug did not have health insurance and his family will desperately need help to pay the medial bills.  Their entire family rides and works at Stevens Pass and they live near Stevens Pass.  Each one of them is a loved member of the Pacific Northwest snow family.

They started a page to help raise money for the family, here’s the link:

Also, Shark Snowsurf is putting on an auction for Doug.  Here’s the details:

One of our beloved #stevenspass families needs our love and support. There will be a volunteer meeting on Friday at 7 o’clock at the Shark Shop. 1214 commercial st Leavenworth. We need:
volunteers to call and collect items for auction.
An MC for the event
And miscellaneous people for this and that. Anyone who will volunteer their time and effort come to the meeting Friday. The event is “to be announced ” still but let’s get this thing together.

We will update this post with more details on how you can further help out the McIndoe family.
